One of the key decision couples have to make is the choice of a venue for their wedding.
Typically, couples commit to a venue then contact some/all the approved vendors for the venue; they receive an instant price list by return email from these vendors. And couples usually panic that they have fallen into a trap where they have to deal with overpriced catering vendors who also provide food they do not like.
You should know that most venues have a set list of caterers they work with and will prevent you from choosing a caterer off this preferred list.

Over many events, we have developed a great relationship with a few venues which we particularly love to work with.

1. Connemara House Farm, Topsfield, MA
We love working with the staff at Connemara House. The place is fabulous from a location standpoint and there is a superb match between our food truck (no kitchen at Connemara), what we stand for (farm-to-table) and the bucolic nature of the location.
We often play the role of “the affordable caterer option” with Connemara as they are teamed up with mostly expensive caterers.

2. Long Hill, Beverly, MA
Long Hill is a property part of the Trustees, and is located in Beverly MA. It features beautiful gardens and can accommodate between 120 to 140 guests.
We love working with Long Hill. This is one of our two team’s favorite, first because it is a gorgeous place for guests (spring is especially fabulous there when the flowers and trees are blooming), and second because the Long Hill staff is fantastic to deal with.
The ceremony can take place on the back lawn, the terrace in the back is fabulous for appetizers and drinks, and the tent is easily accessible. There is also an indoor space.
The layout ensures we can provide great service for your event: Long Hill has a wonderfully equipped kitchen since the renovation and all sides of the property are easy to access from the kitchen as a caterer.
The Trustees are very above-board and professional, which is not always the case with all venues.
Don’t take our word for it, but you will likely find that we (Heritage) are by far the most affordable caterer and the most innovative one from the approved Long Hill vendor list.
